Natural Achy Joint Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup shea butter
  • 2 tablespoons beeswax pellets
  • 1 tablespoon arnica oil
  • 10 drops liquid camphor
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 5 drops frankincense essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper oil
  • 1 teaspoon ashwagandha powder

Instructions:

  1. Melt Base Ingredients:

    • In a double boiler, melt the coconut oil, shea butter, and beeswax pellets over low heat until fully melted. Stir occasionally.
  2. Add Powders:

    • Once the base ingredients are melted, remove from heat and stir in the turmeric powder, ginger powder, and ashwagandha powder until fully incorporated.
  3. Incorporate Oils:

    • Allow the mixture to cool slightly but not harden. Add the arnica oil, liquid camphor, lavender essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, frankincense essential oil, and black pepper oil. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Cool and Whip:

    • Let the mixture cool further until it starts to solidify (you can place it in the fridge for a few minutes to speed up the process). Once it’s partially solidified, whip the mixture using a hand mixer or whisk until it becomes creamy and fluffy.
  5. Store:

    • Transfer the whipped cream into a clean, airtight container. Label it with the date and store it in a cool, dark place.

Usage:

  • Apply a small amount of the cream to achy joints and massage it in gently until absorbed. Use as needed, especially before bedtime or after strenuous activities.
